LOOP Earplugs // Commercial
Although this was a spec project (Loop Earplugs was not directly involved), it stands as the clearest expression of my creative vision, storytelling ability, and production leadership. The goal was to bridge narrative filmmaking with a commercial sensibility—crafting a visually striking, stylistically distinct spot that feels both cinematic and brand-driven.

This project required strategic planning, strong collaboration, and resourceful execution. I led the project from concept through delivery: developing the creative treatment, assembling a dedicated crew, sourcing locations, and overseeing every phase of production and post. The shoot took place over two days with a volunteer team, working within a micro-budget of under $5K. I was responsible for creative direction, production logistics, editing oversight, and maintaining the overall visual and narrative integrity throughout.

The creative treatment I designed was instrumental in aligning collaborators and communicating the tone, pacing, and visual direction from the start.

Net Good | CIRA
As Cloud in the Sky Studio’s internal Creative Director and Director, this project with CIRA—one of our long-standing clients—was both creatively fulfilling and mission-driven. The goal was to develop a compelling campaign video to spotlight the impact of CIRA’s “Net Good” initiative, which supports internet access and equity across Canada.

Given the not-for-profit nature of the organization, we were working within a tight budget (under $60K). I led the creative development, pitching a concept that balanced emotional storytelling with financial constraints, while still elevating the visual profile of both the studio and the client.

From assembling a cost-effective yet highly capable crew to collaborating with a trusted Director of Photography, I oversaw all phases of production and led post-production. I worked closely with the client through multiple feedback cycles, ensuring that their vision and goals were integrated into the final deliverables.

American Express
On-board Membership Campaign
I was brought on by Dentsu as the director for a large-scale onboarding campaign for American Express, consisting of four video spots shot over two days. While I wasn’t responsible for the original campaign concept, I was selected based on my ability to interpret and elevate the agency’s creative vision—pitching back visual ideas and executional approaches that aligned with the client’s goals.

This production involved a full crew, multiple agency stakeholders, and clients present on set—requiring clear communication, creative confidence, and tight execution. I was engaged in all stages of the process: from location scouting and storyboarding to casting approvals, wardrobe, and ongoing creative alignment with the agency and brand team. My role demanded flexibility and leadership, ensuring that the final product remained faithful to the campaign’s strategy while bringing a fresh directorial perspective.
